Lovely single room available in a shared flat in Whitechapel, in the vibrant East London! The flat is located about a 10 min walk from the tube station (closest being Stepney Green) and also has easy access to buses. There are many restaurants, supermarkets and pubs nearby to enjoy the London atmosphere. In this location, you will be no more than 25 minutes from any tourist attraction. Please note that the bathroom and kitchen/lounge will be shared with other guests. On the entrance floor, you will find a well planned and fully equipped kitchen and dining area, leading into a cosy lounge area! It's perfect if you prefer to cook at home or simply to sit and relax after a long day! Free WIFI is provided and the flat also has laundry facilities such as a washing machine, dryer, iron and iron board. The bedroom is a good-sized single room with a comfy bed and dedicated workspace, within a cosy and warm environment. The bathroom is cleaned regularly and there are shower gel, clean towels and toilet paper. The flat has 1 complete shared bathroom. Please note that there are 6 rooms in this flat but 2 are en-suites, so you will share the bathroom facilities with only 3 more rooms/guests. To have access to the flat you will need to go up 2 flights of stairs. Unfortunately, the building doesn’t offer lift facilities. You will have free access to the kitchen, bathroom and laundry facilities, so please make yourself home. I hope you feel comfortable for the short time you will be at my flat. Whitechapel is a vibrant and multicultural district in the East End with many traditional pubs, curry houses and its atmosphere. The lively Whitechapel Market is a focal point for Asian food, discounted clothes and plenty of homeware. Tourists learn about the 1800s Jack the Ripper murders on guided walks through the area’s cobbled alleys. The trendy Whitechapel Gallery hosts contemporary art exhibitions and film screenings. - The nearest tube station is Stepney Green (with District and Hammersmith and City line) - a 5-8 min walk. - We are also walking distance from Whitechapel (with Elizabeth, District, Hammersmith and City lines and Overground) and Shadwell (with Overground). - There are also great bus routes to the City and West End, perfect for sightseeing and shopping (No 25 or 205 bus). There is no need for an expensive tourist bus! - There is also a bike stand close by which is part of the self-service cycle network across London. - You will be also close to trendy alternative spots such as Brick Lane and Shoreditch, which are surrounded by themed bars, good restaurants and many events. I prefer to correspond with my guests through the Airbnb app instead of my mobile phone.
